We had an absolutely beautiful stay! The home was so meticulous and the attention to detail was 10/10. The views were absolutely beautiful too! We all had a lovely time enjoying The Breakaway for the weekend. It had everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. The only thing to keep in mind is that you will need to drive 20 minutes to get anywhere. But if you wanted to relax and avoid the crowds, this is the spot! All in all, great home and host! Highly recommend!

This place was amazing!! Quite possibly one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at! It was even better than the pictures let on! We went for a girls weekend and loved sitting on the deck chatting and THE COUCH!!! That couch was the comfiest couch I have ever sat on! I cannot wait to get one for my own den one day! You don’t really even need to leave the house, that’s how nice it is! She had everything we needed, including lovely smelling soaps and the good toilet paper (haha). I can’t wait to go back with my family one day!

By far the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Peaceful, private, cosy and quiet. The home is beautiful and the host provided snacks, beverages, teas and coffee. 25 minutes down to the cute town of Black Mountain and about 40 minutes to downtown Asheville. It was the perfect weekend getaway.

The Breakaway at Catawba Falls was beautiful and spacious! Our family of 9 (3 under the age of 2) had plenty of room for the children to play, the adults to play board games, and to relax. The openness of the main floor was refreshing and the large front porch was inviting and comfortable. We will be making plans to return in 2026!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The property was exactly as described: quiet, peaceful, and a perfect spot in the mountains! The home itself was lovely, well-kept, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway! The house sits in a quiet neighborhood with zero noise from neighboring homes. If you're looking for a perfect mountain trip, this is the spot! We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return. Highly recommend!

This rental was absolutely beautiful, and exactly what we needed for our trip! The home is tucked away in a gated community in the beautiful mountains of western NC and the home is just as it was described in the rental listing. There are thoughtful touches throughout (including toiletries, kitchen staples and extra supplies for pets/recreation) and the bed and bathroom linens are comfy and inviting. Our group appreciated that the home is stocked with non-toxic supplies and cleaning products (without added fragrances), since we had several travelers with allergies. Of course, everyone loved the big green sofa...and yes, it's as comfortable as it looks! It was so refreshing to stay in a place that was so inviting for us, as well as our pups! 🐾

If you want space, serenity and want the mountain experience, this is the place. Their home is beautiful, spacious and everything has been thought of with some added extras. We traveled with kids and dogs and we had an amazing time at our family gathering.

This airbnb is on our top 5 airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Super clean. Super kind hosts. The house is brand spanking new and well kept. Comfy bed, comfy sofa, spa like master bath and great overall layout. Great outdoor deck area. Super Pet friendly! Great amenities. Little details throughout the house make you feel at home and all of it is very eco friendly. Great location, private community. 30 minute drive distance to all things fun (cities, shopping, small towns, touristy stuff, state parks, blue ridge parkway, great hiking and water falls. I highly recommend staying here. There’s plenty of wildlife within the property. If you want peace, nature sounds, wildlife, while still being close enough to civilization—- this place is for you!
